“Rooted: a case for spending time with trees, even if virtually” for Medicinal Media

My first freelance piece, thank you so much to Jennymarie Jemison for the art direction. This was a bit of a crunch for Earth Day 2023, but I’m glad I got to illustrate a topic I find personal. Going for walks is a daily routine for me, and the sun and trees help keep me sane from hours of staring at a screen 🙂

Fun fact, the background is based off the dormitory buildings I live in. The lack of trees is exaggerated, though! I have quite a lovely view.
